Isola 2000 consists mainly of a long, snaking collection of apartments, shops, bars and restaurants, all under one roof and linked by a central corridor. There are a number of restaurants offering high quality quisine and also there is a good choice of more reasonably priced ones too. You will find the prices are considerably lower than those of better-known resorts.
Our favourite restaurant in the evenings is the Cow Club, and The Hunter Irish Bar is good for a drink, especially draft Guiness. During the day we often stop for a drink or lunch at the Chalet Belvedere, they serve the best hot chocolate and excellent food with huge home made desserts, highly recommended. La Vallette is also a good food stop and it comes with its own donkey.
The ski resort offers a varied combination of activities and events:
Isola village just 17km down the mountain has an excellent indoor swimming pool with slide, sauna and fitness room, worth a visit if you wish to relax for a day.
